Description

Elegant, tall figurine made of ceramic, probably porcelain slip, with a clear glaze. Female figure wearing a crown in medieval style clothing. On the base is a dark blue script capital F, possibly a mark from a German maker. The base measures about 3 1/4" by 2 3/4" and the piece is stable when standing (no wobbling). The widest figure measurement is about 4" and its height is 11 3/4" to the crown points. No flaws noted in the glazing; no chips, no cracks, even delicate the fingers are intact and all original. This queenly lady makes a lovely piece to add a medieval detail to any room. No other information on the provenance of this piece, unknown age of manufacture.
