Makita's Premium Multi-Grit 3” Sanding Belt Set for End-to-End sanding, stripping, reshaping and corrosion removal on wood, metal, and plastic. Proprietary (AO) Aluminum Oxide is used for its inherent properties of strength and hardness, while allowing for longer life combined with versatility for tough industrial applications. 60 Grit size is a coarse size that is ideal for effective surface area removal or tough applications such as: Stripping Paint or Varnish, Rust Removal, Shaping or Leveling Wood. 120 Grit size is ideally suited for a more balanced blend between stripping and finishing 240 Grit size is ideal for Smooth, Super Clean Finish that’s supple & paint-ready. Designed to work optimally with Makita 3” Belt Sanders and also fully compatible with All 3” Belt Sanders, please consider moving slowly while using even & light pressure on the tool, allowing it to do most of the sanding. Please consider not changing directions or dipping the tool at the end of the run.
