Description

Vintage Papier-Mâché Ma And Pa Kettle Figures-Handmade 22-24”-Rare 1 Of A Kind. This is a one of a kind hand made papier-mâché pair of figurines. These sculptures are so detailed its unbelievable. The artist did an excellent job on painting them, but especially their faces. Ma and pa kettle, with paw holding his pitch fork in his hand. Ma is approximately 22” tall and about 8” wide at bottom of her dress. This is depicting the painting by Grant Wood back in the day titled “American Gothic”. Pa is 24” tall approximately 6” wide. Synthetic doll hair was used on both ma and Pa. Handpainted by artist. These are unique one-of-a-kind pieces. Please look at all my photos so you will see any imperfections. There are a couple areas where there is slight cracking. Nothing bad in consideration of how old they are though.
