Description of item for sale: This antique Gothic revival statue display niche is from France. It dates to the mid/late 1800's. It's made from solid oak with beautifully carved Gothic decorations. The ideal statue for this niche would be under 22" tall. Notice the original old painted decorations. The entire piece is in very good antique condition with minor chips, discolorations and scratches consistent with its age. Please examine the photos carefully to note various small trim pieces that are missing. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions: 44" tall, 12" wide and 12" deep (front to back).
